Buff to Buffer Workout and Lifestyle Plan
Part I: Honestly my friends, I simply don’t have the time to post all of my meals right now between work, booking wedding contracts, and thinking about our honeymoon.
Part II: In 19 days I planned to start my wedding Buff to Buffer Workout and Lifestyle Plan. (I am calling it that because it is much more confidence boosting than Chubby to Buffy or something like that hahahah). That will be exactly 9 months before the wedding, and so will give me ample time to be feeling really great about myself by then. I don’t necessarily want to lose more than a couple of pounds, it is more about the “feeling great” vibe that eating reallly well and exercising a lot gives you. I would like to invite anyone who wants to join me to do it too! I will post tips one day a week for such things as staying motivated, simple healthy meals, and what to do when hunger strikes and you’re running low on available calories. I am going to try to not to count calories, but instead listen to my body as something that will be sustainable for real life. Instead of waiting until the exact 9 month period before the wedding, I am starting now.
Part III:
Goal #1: Resume my running plan of Tues, Thur, Sat, Sun, with crosstraining and lifting on the other days.
Tip #1: When the snackymonster comes to play but you have already eaten enough for the day and it is not real hunger, find some type of distraction! For me that is usually starting a new project at work, or painting my nails.
Part IV:
The Blogger Secret Ingredient of the week is POLENTA! I know you will all come up with some great recipes, and I can’t wait! Tonight I am going to test out a recipe I’ve been cooking up in my head!

I have never actually cooked polenta
I’m excited to try something new!
I like your tip about the snackymonster. Distracting yourself can be so difficult.

Gina-
For a biggg serving (1/2 cup dry) it is 253 calories, 54 g carbs, 6 g protein, 1 g fat. I would eat that type of serving if that was it for my meal topped with some type of veggies in a sauce.
