A tribute to chicken
I haven’t cooked chicken in what seems like forever, at LEAST a month or two I think. I have really missed it, and it has been super hard to stick to my guns about only eating hormone free, veggie fed chicken, but, I finally found some! And I must say thank you all for your help in finding it!!!!
I just had to have a small piece for dinner!
Along with my chicken (a 3 oz cooked piece, cooked with garlic salt and oregano) I had a piece of perfectly steamed, fresh-from-the-farm corn on the cob, and a nice and light romaine salad dressed with lemon juice, salt and olive oil, with one sliced strawberry for fun. What a perfect meal! I swear, if you haven’t had hormone free chicken and corn from a farm you don’t know what you’re missing. It was all so so so amazing!!!!
This afternoon I had the other half of my stonyfield farms lowfat vanilla yogurt with 1/4 cup Kashi golean cereal, 8 strawberries, and 10 raisins. It hit the spot.
Thought of the day:
My friend Sevag mentioned something to me today about thinking about the end result of an action before taking it. This really resonated with me, and I tried to apply it to the rest of my day. It really changed the amount of effort I put into my tasks and how motivated I was. Try it out yourself: Before you take or don’t take an action, think about what you want the end result to be. What changes by thinking of that end result?
If you feel like sharing, let me know how thinking about the END RESULT of an action changed it for you.

Great tip in the “thought of the day”!! I definitely try to things things thoroughly through (yikes, say THAT 5 times fast, haha
) before making a decision, no matter how big or small that decision may be.
