I LOVE UPS TODAY!
So I ordered a Polar F6 just yesterday afternoon, and it was delivered to my office by our UPS guy this morning! For free! How cool is that? I am so excited to see how many cals I burn at PT tonight. I’ve always wondered!!!!
Look at how pretty it is in its box:
I was already hungry again at 10 AM (after bfast at
but I did my best to hold off until lunchtime. I ended up giving in to the Z bar that was calling my name. I need yall to stop posting pics of them so I can get them out of my head! haha! But really, they are a perfect snack to hold one over between meals.
Lunch was a serving of leftover umjaddarah and 150 g baby carrots. Man these lentils are good! I am happy that I shared, but sad that it’s all gone now! Thanks Auntie for helping me out with this recipe!!!!
You guys must get sick of seeing the same types of picture day after day, but this is my life. I eat my breakfast, snacks, and lunch at my desk in my office, unless it is the rare day I order out lunch with the rest of my colleagues. I am trying to keep it real here so I won’t be staging any pretty pics for you. Also, I’d like to mention that you often see a lot of the same types of snacks. I definitely believe in changing things up, but it can be hard. For one I buy groceries for myself and it is hard NOT to eat strawberries every day if I bought a container of strawberries. Know what I mean? But also, I tend to stick to foods that I know will keep me full, or not give me a bellyache when I’m running, or are cheap and easy, or that I know my fiance will also enjoy when I see him on the weekend.
That being said! My new goal is to try one brand new, completely different recipe each week. I am getting married in July and I’d like to have a huge repertoire of recipes to make for PB and I by then.
I would really like to roast a whole chicken with citrusy flavors in the next few weeks, but where can I buy a whole, hormone free chicken in Rhode Island? Anyone?! Suzie?!?

Hooray for packages!!!
I don’t get sick of your photos!! Keep posting ‘em!!

That’s so fast! I’m thinking of getting a HRM soon, and I’ve heard great things about the F6.

Very cool about the UPS delivery. Always exciting.
I would love to borrow your books, but I know I don’t even have time to look at them right now.
About the chicken. My mom says Perdue chickens are hormone free and also suggests checking Dave’s and Whole Foods.

Cool gift you got! What do you do at PT? I’m interested because I treat patients with PT methods
I’m new here so I didn’t know all of your pics are at your desk. I think that’s hilarious

Sabrina,
You can definitely find a whole hormone free chicken at Whole Foods. You could also try Stop & Shop – they have an organic line – Nature’s Promise. I am just not sure if they offer a whole chicken.

Do you have Wegmans in RI? Other than Whole Foods, that’s where I’ve found organic meats.
Have fun with the HRM!
