Sleep and Repeat
I’m late, I’m late!
I feel like I am in that movie “A Groundhog Day”.. that’s what it was called right? Today seems to be just like yesterday, except without dentist appointments. Both my roomie and I slept through our alarms today, and I don’t even remember shutting mine off. That has never happened to me in my life, seriously. It was bizarre. Luckily at 8:20 she woke up and we rushed off to work!
A thought on PB…. I think that I miss him more when I spend more time with him and then have to part ways. For example, this week I miss him like crazy and I feel almost sick over it, even though I just spent an awesome weekend with him in L.A. Luckily he is coming to R.I. tonight since he has work nearby tomorrow and Friday. So tonight I am making a special dinner! I won’t be able to talk to him at all until dinner because when he gets here he has a bunch of work to do, but I know he’ll at least break for my dinner! Can’t wait to make it!
Breakfast today was a repeat of yesterday:
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 medium banana
1 tbs peanut butter
10 g shredded coconut
and some tea
Lauren asked me to start posting the nutritional information so I will do my best to do so when I can!
Totals:
325 calories
14 g fat
49 g carbs
8 g protein
7 g fiber
and Kelly asked me about the Arnold’s Sandwich thins. They are about 100 calories each, so you can still enjoy a sandwich while keeping the calories a bit lower. I know that I personally like them because I prefer to have more fun ingredients in my sandwich and not to have it be too bready. It is good if you like to use english muffins as a base for sandwiches, because these are equally as thin but wider like a pancake.
Plan today:
get my work done
upper body and abs workout (45 minutes)
buy fish from the market
shower
cook for PB and I
clean the house from top to bottom!!!
thought of the day:
HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
what’s yours today?

The film is just called “Groundhog Day” – no “A,” haha
Best of luck with your busy day!! You’ll get through it, I know it!!

Ug, I totally know what you mean about missing the boy more when you see him more! My last year in college my bf had already graduated and was working in NYC, but he would drive alll the way up to UConn almost every weekend to see me, but the hardest times were after a vacation where I got used to seeing him almost everyday.
Thought of the day (ok, more of a quote): “Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin. ” – Mother Teresa

Aw… I can’t wait until you and PB get married and live together! That will be so nice

I also know what you mean about the boyf…the problem of going to school out of state is that somehow, you’re always bound to be in a relationship that’s long distance!
I hope you have a great dinner with him tonight =]

Aw, you guys will be together soon!
I like the “hard work pays off”. I think my thought is “the early bird catches the worm”.

Do you buy a specific brand of coconut? Or just whatever you stumble upon in whatever store you are at?

so happy to know I’m not alone in always missing my boy!!!
Allison- I am using up the rest of a package of regular commercial sweetened shredded coconut, but I have an awesome unsweetened shredded one from whole foods that i use for making macaroons and such. i will look at the name tonight and let you know!
