Dinner out
Written last night, but forgot to hit PUBLISH….
I left work and after a quick stop to the orthodontist I went to get a mani/pedi.
I ate a Peanut Butter Clif Z-bar around 3 because I was feeling so hungry, but I brought a Spooky S’mores one with me to have just in case as I knew dinner was not right around the corner. I got hungry. I ate it. It hit the spot.
(picture the below times 2, two hours apart)
At dinner I ordered the fish with 2 scallops, green beans, and a salad. It was so good, but the company was even better. We used to do family dinner 1 time a week on Wednesdays for about a 2 year streak but we have been slacking on that lately. Tonight was extra special with PB in town PLUS my brother and sister in law being available (and my dad obviously). Yay for family dinner!

*It is really hard to estimate both portions and calories when you are out to eat. You can never really be sure what you are eating. I don’t go out to eat too much, and when I do I just listen to my body and enjoy my meal. I used to ask for no butter, no oil, only veggies on the side etc etc. Now I only do that sometimes, and other times enjoy the meal as the chef meant for it to be enjoyed. I think it is important to find a good balance!

Great philosophy for the balance!

Hey girl- LOVE your blog. Just wondering, why is 1679 an “eek”? Are you aiming for lower?
Just wondering, bc I think you are gorgeous and don’t have an ounce to lose!

annaalstondonnelly- 1679 is an “eek” because I didn’t get any exercise in and I am trying to lose 2-5 more lbs. Thank you so much for your compliment. I feel good but I would like to just be a little bit smaller. Therefore my goal has been 1400-1600 on days I don’t exercise, and 1500-1700 on days I do.
