Rhodey Girl's Turkey Burgers
These were so awesome I just couldn’t wait to share the recipe!
Ingredients:
10 oz raw hormone free ground turkey
4 canned artichoke hearts (about 1/2 can)
10 button mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2.5 oz block feta
1 tbs salt
1/2 tbs olive oil
Directions:
1. Slice the mushrooms into small pieces and sprinkle with 1 tbs salt. Meanwhile, heat a pan with 1/2 tbs olive oil. Cook the mushrooms in the pan for about 10 minutes until softened.
2. While the mushrooms are cooking chop up the artichoke hearts and feta and place into a bowl with the ground turkey and red pepper flakes. When the mushrooms are done put them in the bowl as well.
3. Combine all the ingredients well and form into 4 patties.
4. Heat the used mushroom pan to high. Place the patties in the pan and brown each side for about 5 minutes. Cover the pan and lower the heat to medium low and cook for 7-10 more minutes, until they are cooked through.
Enjoy!

This sounds amazing. Love that it has artichokes and feta!
These were phenomenal – my mouth is watering just thinking about them.
Oh my gosh that sounds incredible! I love the flavor combos…
Those burgers sound great! Thanks for sharing!
Mmmm….sounds delish!
I have ground turkey in my freezer! Mmm…
there are ARTICHOKE HEARTS in them- I’m sold!! This recipe looks amazing. Next time I’m at the store I’m picking up ground turkey for sure, but at the moment I’m trying to convince myself to use up what’s in my freezer/pantry (this recipe will encourage me to get a move on, though!)
Have a great monday!
I just found your blog and LOVE it! 🙂 I read your about me section too – you are in such a fun place in life right now! (I just got married in July, so I can relate to all the wedding magazine browsing!) and whoa! Your before and after pictures – I thought you looked good before, but you look fantastic now! I’ll definitely keep checking your blog out! 🙂
The addition of artichokes to the turkey burger is a great idea! Sadly, I don’t like mushrooms!
Happy Monday!
They sound wonderful! I would have never thought to add artichoke hearts to burgers. 🙂
