Missing PB already
It was really hard to leave Philadelphia this morning. Pb and I won’t be seeing each other this weekend so the goodbye this morning was extra hard. We just have to keep looking forward and remember that in a few short months we will be married and living in the same town! July 25th couldn’t come soon enough.
We got a lot of wedding stuff accomplished this weekend- we hardly had anything to dofor the next couple of months which is perfect since the holidays are right around the corner.
What did we decide? DJ, string quartet, and……. Honeymoon!!!! We are booking today!! More details later, but I am psyched! It will definitely be a trip of a lifetime.
When I got to my office I made oatmeal as soon as possible. I was so hungry! I was smart and made a mini batch on Thursday night so I’d have some ready this morning. I took a banana from PB’s and I was all set.
Todays combo:
Half serving steel cut oats (much less volume but much chewier)
Small banana
One tbs pb
10 g coconut
My new goal for this week is to exercise every day, even if just for 20 minutes. I tend to get too “cold” to head out to the gym after work and I need to just get over it! So that’s this week’s goal.

hopefully the time will fly! distance is so tough, but will make you all stronger! Cant wait to hear what you all decided for the honeymoon! My goal this week is to take some much needed time off and eat right!

I finally joined Calorie King this morning! I was shocked to learn how many cals I consumed at breakfast…wow, it adds up quickly!

Yum- how do you like steel cut oats vs. regular? I think I’m more of a volume eater but every once in a while I love their texture.
Great goal- although I would’t push yourself with too formal a definition of ‘exercise.’ Even just getting out for a brisk walk or something helps.

i think the steel cut oats are a nice change, but i definitely prefer the volume of old fashioned.. and maybe the creaminess too?
