Healthy American Dinner Menu for a Firenze Reunion
I am having a few girlfriends over tomorrow night for dinner and girl talk. Two of them are sleeping over for the weekend! We haven’t all been together in a while so I am super excited! We all became great friends in Florence in 2004 and now get together at least once a year for a weekend of fun.
Having a small dinner party + prepping for a weekend of sleepovers doesn’t need to take all night. With a little planning and prep work, you’ll be ready to go in no time!

Two mini pizzas for appetizer
Turkey Artichoke Burgers
Small Whole Foods Ciabatta Rolls
Baked Sweet Potato Fries
Regular Baked Fries
A fresh salad with apples, walnuts, and feta cheese
Loco’s Apple Crisp
Pomegranate Vanillocktails
Market List– for tomorrow’s dinner + weekend
ground turkey
button mushrooms- small box
4 ciabatta rolls
3-4 potatoes
1 head of lettuce
4 apples- 1 for dinner and rest for snacking
bananas
small milk for coffees + french toast
4-6 oranges
Bread from Great Harvest for french toast on Saturday!
To do
Tonight:
-Go to the market to buy all needed ingredients
-Make the dough and let rise
-Prep the burgers up to the point of cooking
-Clean a pomegranate
-Set the table
-Change the sheets. Blow up the air mattress
-Dust, vacuum and wash all floors
-Bake the pizzas
Tomorrow immediately after work:
-Preheat oven
-Chop and boil the potatoes. Pop in the oven.
-Cut the rolls and put into pretty bread basket
-Prep the salad except for the dressing
–Change into outfit for the night
-Take potatoes out of oven
-Pick up friend from airport
-Heat up the pizzas in oven
-Cook the burgers
-Pop the fries in for 5 minutes just to heat up
-Dress the salad
-Enjoy!
