Luigi's in Johnston
My friend Hub and I met for lunch today as I had to go to the wedding venue to meet with our lighting artist. Love to call her that, because she IS just that, and artist and a designer, and so very awesome. Anyway, Hub and I met at Luigi’s in Johnston since that was on her way to where she needed to go before I headed into Providence.
First I ordered a cup of lentil soup with a 1/2 caprese sandwich.
The soup tasted like a gallon of wine was poured in it (super weird) but I was hungry and paid $8 for that lunch so I ate it and dipped one of those rolls in it. Then our 1/2 sandwiches came out and it was pretty much 2 hunks of bread with a measly slice of tomato and slice of mozzarella in it. So disappointing. After I ate most of that we were both still starving so we decided to splurge on a dessert. NOT the best time to do so but honestly I was still so hungry.
We shared some type of fudgy caramelly thing. It was a pretty small piece and I had about a third of it? Enough to stick to the ribs ha.
It was good but I am kind of annoyed that I had it. Had I just ordered a big veggie salad or something else “safe” I wouldn’t have still been hungry and caved for dessert.
Now I am back at work and need to rush to get some things done! It is already 3 o’clock eek! PB will behere in less than 3 hours (hopefully).
I’ll be back tonight with a “RhodeyGirl Tests”. testing out one of Itzy’s Kitchen recipes. can’t wait! PB is going to love it I think!

Owww! I’m soooo excited! Bummer about lunch! Hopefully dinner will be much better!
