Scared wins over Thirsty
A great big recap complete with how tos on hosting a big holiday including prep work, clean up, enjoying your time, and still eating a healthy meal is hanging out in my head right now. I would blog about it, but I am so insanely thirsty and I mistakenly left my glass of water downstairs. So I am going to bed instead.
Isn’t it weird that when I had a roomie I wasn’t scared even when she wasn’t home. Now that she isn’t EVER home I am scared. What is wrong with me?
I am going to go to sleep so that I can get over this thirst. The first floor is just too scary right now. But know that a few great fun tip posts + picture posts and recipe posts are on the way!
Highlight to look forward to: My mixed greens salad with an avocado, grapefruit salsa! It was INSANELY delicious. Even though I added 2 tablespoons of kosher salt instead of the planned 2 teaspoons. Whoops! Better not step on the scale tomorrow with that kind of sodium. Seriously! Anyway, the menu I created was a great success and that makes me happy! My family lately has been into the same foods at every get together, so this was a bit of a risk!
Also, I chose fried ricotta balls for my treat of the week. Every single one was worth it. Even the food coma after them was worth it. They are amazing, and I will be sharing the recipe and method with you asap!
