Wedding Invitations!
Now that all of our guests have received their wedding invitations I can share them!
Leanne of Quaint Correspondences created them, and I love them so much! Working with Leanne was a blessing. From start to finish she was patient and creative and created the exact invitations we wanted. If you need any invitation or paper design of any sort please be sure to contact her!
*Sorry for the intense blacking out of words.. I didn’t want to share to much in this very public forum.
We used very simple colors to keep it classic and formal.. but every color has some sparkle in it! Love that. Also, the invitations were thermographed (is that even a word? I think that’s what it is called?)… basically the text is raised, but unlike letterpress you don’t see the indentation on the other side. It is also a lot cheaper than letterpress, not that it was cheap. Paper costs a lot more than you think it will!
If all of your guests have received their wedding invitations, you will be excited to know about the stunning Custom wedding stationery designed by Apprintable. From start to finish, their patience and creativity will brought your vision to life, resulting in beautiful table decorations that exuded classic elegance with a touch of sparkle. The thermographic text added a sophisticated raised effect, all while being a more affordable option. Working with Apprintable will be a blessing, and you will deffiently like it.
Here is the back of the envelope:
And the inside flap:
The outside of the actual invitation has this cool monogram, but it is not worth showing since the whole thing would be blacked out ha! It says “RhodeyGirl & PhillyBoy July 25, 2009”. Here is the inside main part of the invitation.. we did a trifold design:
Here is the bottom portion with all of the cards still tucked in:
Below is the response card front and back. We decided to do it postcard style to save a LITTLE bit of paper. What we didn’t realize (or remember I should say) is that square postcards cost 62 cents! That was kind of annoying… but it was worth it:
The back:
And the save the date, which I think I may have forgotten to share! insert blurry iphone pic here:
Why do I share all of this today?
Because PB and my wedding is only 100 days away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gorgeous!! You gave inspired me to share mine soon!
Awww beautiful sparkly. I also like the phrasing that involves both sets of parents.
I also thought about your pancake dilemma from this morning – maybe add a little bit of milk – it will add some protein and I know when I add milk to oats it fills me even more.

I’ve been thinking a lot about my wedding lately and how awesome it was. Posting a few pics on my blog on Sunday made me happy… and I’m finally getting my wedding album on Sunday that I can’t wait to show off at work! ๐
Very pretty! I love that last photo of the two of you, it’s so picturesque.
With the pancakes, I always add banana and cottage cheese and throw all of it in the blender ๐
Gorgeous! I love anything that sparkles!! By the way I adore the STD – cute pic of the two of you ๐
GORGEOUS!! love it…
how many people are you inviting? is the catering with the event space or your own? sorry about all the Qs, i am just starting this crap now and wondering…
Hi Elise!!
We are inviting, um, 450 guests. We come from huge families and it just kind of happened before we realized it. Insane, I know.. worth it, I think it will be! Our reception is at a hotel so they take care of everything.. if I could start over I would probably do a mansion + catering.. it would have been cheaper + prettier + tastier. Have you checked out weddingbee yet? lots of great ideas.. http://www.weddingbee.com !
oh, and thanks for the compliment!
Lovely invitations!
The picture of you two on the save the date card is gorgeous as well. ๐

I love your site! I am a new visitor and have learned a great deal re new and exciting healthy meal ideas. I am in the process of wedding planning – getting married this fall – and would love to see the images of your invitations. However they are not coming up (just see small red x marks). I tried on 2 computers and my iPhone and no luck. Would you mind reposting? Or perhaps sending me an image or two? Thanks!!!
@Isabel, Thank you for your comment. I did try to email you a couple of photos, but the email address is rejecting them. Do you have another address where I can send the files? Also, sorry the photos aren’t loading here… I just recently changed servers and am having a few issues.
Sorry about that – I cleaned up the inbox a bit so please give it another try. If that doesn’t work I’ve given you another email address to try. Thanks!
