Menu: A Memorial Day Weekend BBQ
This weekend my cousin Raz and I are going to pretend we still live together and are hosting a simple BBQ on Sunday at my dad’s for all the cousins. It is a special one in memory of a close relative who passed away this week at 106 {yes, you read that right! 106!!!}, so we will be making it extra special with a yummy menu and hopefully sunshine and smiles too.
Here is the menu as we have it planned right now:
Appetizer:
PhillyBoy’s Homemade Pizza {extra light version- thin and crispy!}
On the grill…
Hamburgers/Cheeseburgers w/ organic WF beef and whole wheat buns
Filet Mignon
Portobello Mushrooms
Zucchini, Eggplant, Peppers with a balsamic reduction
Off the grill…
Greek Salad
Regular Salad
Dessert
Fruit salad
A special cupcake for our cousin who turned 26 this week!
To quench our thirst:
Homemade unsweetened raspberry iced tea yummmmmmmmmmmm
P.S. I get to see PhillyBoy in 12 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
