  4. I knew exactly what you are talking about when you mentioned the Mercato Centrale. I went to Florence as well and that particular market was the highlight of my trip. I even have a black and white photo of it on my fridge.

    The San Fran Ferry Market reminded me of a European market as soon as I stepped foot inside.

    The powerful scent of the lavender drew me in as well… i bet it made everything in your bag smell heavenly.

    My FIL is from Florence, Italy, and my husband spent summers there – his family lived near Ponte Vecchio – a famous bridge!
