  6. crab cake benedict is really popular here in md. they have it at every place that serves breakfast and brunch! i’ve never tried it though! love all the food, and i must say.. you look absolutely GORGEOUS in your last pic πŸ™‚ lovely!!

  16. aaaahhh the black bean hummus and bagel chips from Books & Books was one of my FAVORITES from the first time I went to Miami too!!!!! So funny! Your meals look spectacular and makes me wish I was there. Might have to take a little “long weekend” trip this winter πŸ™‚

  17. Oh yes! I agree 100%. Sunshine absolutely makes everyone happier. People just seemsto have more energy on days where the sun is shining bright…including me!

  18. I hope you had some Cubano food while you were there! Nothing better than Cuban food and Miami is one of the best places for it-YOM.

    You have some MAJOR will power to pass up all that bacon. That’s the one thing that I just can’t do without. It’s a treat for me and I only eat it every so often but I think I definitely would have enjoyed it on that sandwich!

  19. Everything looks amazing!! I’ve been to Miami 2 years ago and was kind of disappointed but I think I need to give it a shot again. So many people can’t love it for no reason.. and it looks like there are so many foodie spots around. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us! πŸ˜€

  23. I live in Miami and was just at Books and Books last weekend. I must say, I was also disappointed in the matzo and was really missing those bagel chips! Great review and beautiful photos!
