  1. Isn’t it great!? I had a runner’s high for the first time in months tonight. The air was so fresh and spring-like!
We have become “snoozers” this winter. I have never before used the snooze button in my life. Its about time spring is coming! :)

@Meghan@traveleatlove, We have become snoozers too. We set 2 alarms and they both go off every ten minutes until one of us has the sense to just get up! I hate it and I can’t wait for the sun to start rising earlier!!!!

You just totally described my run yesterday. I’m just 15 minutes outside of Philly (in Jersey) so we definitely are experiencing the same weather :) It was still pretty cold but I felt like I was seeing the start of Spring (which is my FAV time of year!). I’m moving into Philly in Sept and cant wait to start running on Kelly drive! I just moved back to this area from NYC and I’m spoiled by Central Park. Kelly Drive is gorgeous, though. You just made me very excited about moving :)

  5. I feel the same way you do! I was thinking today that a morning run would be perfect tomorrow, but it is supposed to rain here. We’ll see, I might just brave the elements!

  7. Sounds wonderful. I love moments where it feels like nature is speaking directly to me making me take notice of simple pleasures like crisp air and sunsets.

  8. Ahhhh. Its days like this you remember WHY you love to run. I can’t remember the last time I actually used a TM…I am so spoiled by getting to run outside ALMOST any time I choose.

  9. The only time I managed to run in the morning, I absolutely loved it. The quietness, the way I felt through the rest of the day. But it’s so hard for me to get my butt out of bed in the mornings. I think it’s the cold right now that keeps me snuggled up under my warm blanket.

  10. Oh I feel ya! I ran outside this morning for the first time since November. It was tough, but glorious at the same time!

  11. So jealous! Your run sounds awesome. I’m usually an evening runner, but ran in the mornings over the summer a bit — it’s so peaceful in city at that time of day! Now that the sun is rising earlier, I’m hoping to get out in the AM more often again.

  12. I can’t wait for the first run without snow on the ground! Small peaks of grass are starting to show and it reached 37 degrees yesterday – spring is on it’s way in NY.

  13. I haaate running with anything in my stomach, which makes it difficult because I can’t run in the morning — I have to be on a train to work by 6:30 a.m. and I just don’t feel safe working out in my neighborhood earlier than that. But in the evening I am always juggling dinner with my partner and trying to get in exercise before we eat. If I don’t exercise first, I know I won’t work out later. :/ Maybe I will try morning runs once it is lighter outside…
