Two words. Supreme. Cloud.
It is really difficult to come from a life changing trip and be able to explain in words what that trip was like. Our trip to Jordan was an experience none of us will ever forget. I will do my best to share that experience with you in the coming days.
We are finally home. After a few flight issues we made it back on Friday night, and we are now battling jet lag. After a big trip I always need a few days to reset myself, to find my normal healthy lifestyle, and returning from this trip is no different. While I LOVED our vacation, it feels good to be home.
The keys for me to a healthy lifestyle are:
Sleep
Exercise
Water
Healthy Diet
I am going to really focus on those 4 important components to a healthy lifestyle to get myself back in my normal, at home groove. I have a little help with the first component: Sleep! I have been battling jet lag, and somehow the only thing that helps is getting a good long night of sleep. Our mattress has been in PB’s life for well over 7 years, and I never found it that comfortable. Luckily, Tempur-Pedic is helping both you and me with the issue of a good night’s rest! I have been given the opportunity to host a giveaway for a Tempur-Cloud-Supreme mattress, and I am reviewing one too! You will have to come back later this week to hear my thoughts on the mattress as well as details on how to enter the giveaway. This is a grand prize, and as such will require a bit of work to enter the contest. Get your creative minds thinking, because this contest will require a video entry. You can inspire yourself by learning about the Tempur-Cloud-Supreme mattress here. More details later this week, promise!
In the meantime, what helps you get a good night’s rest? My must haves are:
-an early dinner
-a cool room
-an early bedtime (10 PM)
-a suitable mattress!
With the humidity that met us at the Philly airport, as well as the lasting after effects of jet lag, I am in need of some serious rest. And it is high time I take it! Bring on the sleep!

I have partnered with Tempur-Pedic to help promote the Tempur-Cloud-Supreme mattress. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program, which includes writing about my own experiences regarding sleep and its relation to overall well being, and hosting a giveaway where the prize has been provided by Tempur-Pedic. As always, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

Glad you had a great trip Sabrina! For me to have a good night’s sleep, I must not be very full, and they room has to be COLD. I can’t sleep if I’m hot.
I so missed you! Thrilled you’re back 🙂 Even more thrilled to hear you had an incredible trip. What a fun giveaway this will be. Good sleep requires lots of covers, Frank, Josh and a comfortable temperature
i can only imagine how incredible your trip was, and i can’t wait to read about it! take care of yourself girl…you were dearly missed 🙂
Welcome back Sabrina! I share your feelings regarding how difficult it is to come home to a trip like that. I’m still recovering in every possibly way from Israel – from the trip itself and the people I met, to lack of sleep (from all good things, of course), eating and exercising normally again, and getting back into my everyday routine here. It’s been a week for me and I can only admit to being about halfway recovered. But I’m going to take my time 🙂 As for a good sleep – I need to be cold, not hungry at all and on an extremely comfy mattress (I’ve always been very picky with mattresses and can’t wait to hear your review on this one!)
Can’t wait to hear about the trip! I am a fussy sleeper I need a few of those things mentioned above to get a good night’s rest. Unfortunately, the mattress is one and boy do we need one. I’ll be waiting patiently not only for your trip info but the info on the give-away. 🙂
Our mattress is the same way, old and worn out! Difficult to get a good nights rest in, but I’ve found that the combination of a cool, dark room with some sleepytime tea really works magic! Enjoy your rest!
I must admit that they other day I thought to myself, “I hope Sabrina comes back soon”! haha I have missed reading your posts. Good luck getting readjusted to day-to-day life!
I’ve slept on one of those mattresses once before and actually found it to be pretty uncomfortable. Yes, it does form to your body but that factor makes it a little more difficult to roll over and readjust in the night. Perhaps it takes more than one sleep to get used to it, though!
@Laura, Aww thanks!
About the mattress, I am hoping the form works to our benefit because right now my husband takes the sheets every night and cocoons himself in them, leaving me without sheets or space on the bed!!!!!
A full belly definitely helps me sleep well! 🙂 My husband and I want a Tempur-Pedic bed, they are so amazing!!

I want one of these so bad, but I’ve used memory foam pillows before and they’ve made my back pain WORSE! Im interested to read your review.
