The Hack Heard Around the World
I’m back.
RhodeyGirl Tests is back.
I got hacked and I still don’t understand it. I stayed silent and still in hopes that it would disappear, and when it didn’t I hired my old friend Zesty’s services to fix it. It’s fixed. We’re back. And I promise no more random car insurance hacker business.
My house is eerily silent right now. There is no sound of the nanny prepping Raffi’s snack, and no sound of Raffi running around the room carrying two alike objects as he squeals. He started daycare yesterday, and I’m not used to the quiet.
Remember how I work full time even though I don’t have full time help? Well, a spot opened up at a great daycare, so Raffi is headed there 2 days a week now. Yesterday was his first day. He didn’t cry. He waved goodbye and continued playing. I cried a lot and cried a few times during the day. When he got home he was extra snuggly. He ate an adult portion of pasta with butter and a 1/2 cup of peas before we read some books in his room. The minute I shut off the light he put his head down on my shoulder, and when I neared his crib he basically dove in.
Today I held back my tears since again he didn’t cry. I told him I loved him and would see him tonight and he waved bye and ran over to the snack table to get ready for snack. He’s getting too big too fast.
To make my work day even more productive without my poochie pie I busted out my new slow cooker. It’s the Ninja 3-in-1 cooking system and it’s pretty rad. I’m making a whole chicken with some potatoes and onions, and dinner will be ready at 6 PM tonight. I hope it turns out delicious so I can share the recipe. It took me about 5 minutes to prep. I’m giving one of the Ninja’s away sometime soon, so keep your eyes out.
I’m writing about this second pregnancy weekly on Babycenter. I probably won’t do weekly updates here, but I might change my mind. I’m 16 weeks pregnant right now and have taken one iPhone belly photo and that’s it. Shame on me. Growing up I noticed there were hardly any baby photos of me but tons of my brother. I guess that’s what happens with the second child. Unfortunately I had just read the girl on the milk carton (or whatever that book was called) and thought I had been kidnapped as a small child. It didn’t help that I looked the opposite of my blonde haired, light skinned mother.
When I have a chance I’ll finally share Raffi’s party photos. I was afraid to post while my site was hacked.
Have a great Wednesday. It’s going to be a great week.

Welcome back! I’m sure Raffi really misses you during the day 🙂 I’m excited to hear about the Ninja system, it looks very cool!
Yay, you’re back : )
I love my ninja! Use it all the time. Would love the 3 in 1!!
I was wondering why you hadn’t been posting!
Congrats on the second baby! One is plenty for me for now but I imagine when the time comes I too will take almost zero bump pics. The novelty of pregnancy wears off rather quickly.
