Video: Animal Sounds
We’ve been working on our animal sounds, and I love having a new trick to show everyone.
Here are the animal sounds Raffi knows so far:
Dog/doggy: “woof woof”
Duck: “cak cak” (quack quack)
Cow: “moof” (moo)
Monkey: “ah ah ah” (ooh ooh ooh ah ah ah)
See this quick pre-bed video for proof:
We are now working on horse (nayyyy), owl (hoot, hoot) and chicken (boc boc boc boc boc). Raffi laughs hysterically when I do the chicken sound.
Every time Raffi sees a dog he points and says WOOF WOOF either really quietly or in a super loud voice. Sometimes I don’t know where the dog is and have to follow his gaze to find it. He does the same thing with “dis” – also known as Christmas trees. On our ride home from daycare he points out every lit up tree with aw and enthusiasm.

We took a family walk on Sunay and passed a lady with a teeny tiny dog and my son started yelling, “meow! Meow!” The dog was so small he thought it was a cat haha
you need to include yourself making the chicken sound in the video! not fair only raffi gets to hear it
Funny how kids pick up on the sound of animals so fast. I have a two year old when ever we pass an animal that she knows she will make the sound of the animal instead of call it by name
