What we’re eating, week 2
Woohoo! Week 1 was a fantastic success. We kept to our budget and ate great dinners at home. It felt great to have a plan every day.
Here’s what we have planned this week:
Sunday: lobster and crab ravioli in a pink vodka sauce
Monday: baked chicken parmigiano, salad
Tuesday: off the hook, it’s my 26th birthday so we are going out for a family dinner
Wednesday: chicken fajitas. They were such a hit last week that I’m repeating.
Thursday: homemade pizzas
Friday: shrimp barley salad or (if we have guests) grilled shrimp and calamari, corn on the cob, grilled zucchini
Here’s our first week of menu planning this fall.
Market spending this week: $150 from Whole Foods, $173 at BJ’s but that included a few things for R’s birthday party plus paper goods

What. You are turning 26? We are the same age! Well you’re a few wks younger.
Medical school is HARD but GOOD LORD I can’t imagine having TWO KIDS at this age!!!!!! I’m complaining about working 16 hour days with one day off every other weekend, except motherhood is 24 hrs a day with no wknds at ALL. Gahhhhhh. You are amazing !
