Feelin' like a honeymoon.
Morning! Wow I am in a great mood today!!!! I have a great workout planned, great meals, had great dreams last night, and life is great! For those who are new to the blog, PB= PhillyBoy, my future hubaroo. He is so amazing and I miss him but I will get to see him next weekend I can’t wait!!! We are getting married in July and so now is the time to work on our guest lists (for save the dates) and man it is not so fun! Hopefully we will be done by the end of next week!
Right now we are thinking about our honeymoon. It sure is nice to daydream about, and makes this year of flying back and forth seem like it will be a piece of cake. We have such a reward to look forward to- first we get to get married with all our fav people there, then an awesome honeymoon, then life together! I can’t wait to live with him. Anyway, we don’t know where to go on our honeymoon!!!!! We are big travelers and want something different than what we have experienced before. All ideas are welcome!
Now, onto food. I got my jar of Barney Butter today. I waited until UPS showed at 9:15 to eat breakfast even though I was so hungry just so I could wait for my long anticipated jar. I don’t think I’ve blogged about it, but I sampled it a few weeks ago and it was so amazing that I decided I needed more! I had 2 Kashi oat n honey waffles today, just as a vehicle for the BB. I also had a nice banana sliced on top. mmmmm tasty! I am aware that BB doesn’t just have almonds in it, but with about 4 ingredients, I can deal. The taste is just so amazing. So amazing, in fact, that my waffles are smiling at me today.

i’d never heard of barney butter, but i looked it up and it sounds incredible. your method of consuming it sounds even better–kashi makes some good waffles. and i love the smiley face. 🙂
i’d be smiling, too! 🙂
So, the smiling waffles are definitely reminiscent of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure and the talking breakfast in the beginning…I smell Pee Wee v. Rhodey Girl in a copyright infringement action!
Haha, I used to love Pee Wee! That breakfast looks yummy! That’s cool that you want to try something different for your honeymoon. If I could go anywhere in the world, it’d be Italy. If you travel a lot, you may have been already. 🙂
Hooray for being in a GREAT mood, and for an equally-happy-looking breakfast 🙂
hey, where have you all been? and how much are you willing to spend? I plan a lot of honeymoons and would he happy to give good suggestions just need that teeny bit of info!
Grace- It is really delicious, and a nice change from PB. I recommend trying any kind of almond butter yum yum
Triggles- i never saw that movie sorry!!!!
Laura- I actually lived in Italy for 8 months, and PB was there for 6 weeks once, so I think we might wait on Italy 🙂
VeggieGirl- I am so super happy in the fall! hooray!
Jennifer- emailing you now!
hey can you email it to the address i have put in now? i am at work and can get the email here. thanks!
Yes, yes. I too have been contemplating the honeymoon. We at first wanted to go to Italy or London, but I just don’t think we have the budget for that — but if you do?! Are you thinking Europe at all?
So our next thought was an all inclusive, because that is sort of typical happy honeymoon fare. And I found one I think is at the top of our list. It’s called “Royal Plantation” and it’s in Jamaica. It was rated, by over 400 user reviews, as the top all inclusive in the world, on trip advisor. It’s one of those places that’s all beaches and food and great service. Oh and they have a lot of excursions like scuba diving and zip lining that we might try! If you are going all-inclusive, this seems to be the top place.
My friend and her husband just went to Napa Valley on their honeymoon — to a B&B, great restaurants, wine tasting, hot air balloon ride? I thought it sounded fantastic, but Jeff really wants to leave the country.
So, those are the places we considered…. good luck with yours!
Oh! And Disneyworld. I sorta kinda wanted to go there, but Jeff nixed it pretty much right away. The bright side is, if I ever get sucked into my company as an actual benefitted employee and not a contract employee, I automatically get free tickets to all Disney Parks and something like 30% off hotel rooms. So when that happens I am definitely making Jeff go!!!
We honeymooned in Key West. It was so laid back, some of the best people watching too!
Good luck with your wedding planning!
what nationality are you? I can’t figure it out! You and PB will have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon. You are so on top of your game! I can’t wait to try some Barney Butter I should be getting it soon.
Anonymous- You can’t figure it out because it’s a tough one. My mom is from Italy (but northern Italy so she was blond with blue eyes and fair skin) and my dad is from Jordan (yet we are all Christian- his dad is a minister). So I was born here, but my blood is Jordanian/Italian!!!! PB’s background is mostly Armenian. Barney butter is amazing. You’re gonna love it.
Very cute smile!
I’m dying over this picture. It’s so perfect!
