A change for a day
I went for the Kashi oats n honey waffles with 1 banana and 2 tbs pb today, as I only have one 1/2 serving of prepped oats and I know I will want them tomorrow as it is supposed to be rainy. I couldn’t use one of my fun new bowls bc they aren’t big enough! I need to invest in a plate too. I also have tea every morning, even if I don’t mention it. And it’s either a Lavender Earl Grey or plain old classic Lipton. I steep it for about a minute and that’s it.
By the way, I eat breakfast at work because I would rather get in and get some work done before eating over forcing myself to eat right away.
I woke up at 6 today planning on cleaning my room and such, but I ended up snoozing until 6:30. I left my window open so I was coooollld! PB needs to take me to Target this weekend so I can buy new slippers! I finally got up, cleaned my room a bit, did some laundry (which is drying while I’m at work), showered and headed into work. I meet with a PT to work out once a week and that day is today so I am going straight from work and will do the elliptical for a few minutes after. My ankle is really hurting me so I need to take it easy! Would acupuncture work if it was bone fractures that have healed? anyone know? I heard about this great community acupuncture place near PB and would like to try it. Maybe it could also help my carpal tunnel symptoms.
Time to eat bfast and work work work!!!
One more day until I see PB!
Oh, and is there any correlation between raw tuna and nightmares? Because I didn’t eat dinner that late last night but I had the most terrible nightmares… the kind you have as a kid where you are so scared you won’t even get up or you try to scream and no sound comes out. I only have weird dreams if I eat right before bed but I haven’t done that since college.
Hm, I’ve never heard about tuna and nightmares… but now that I think about it, it may very well be true! The last scary dream I had was after a dinner with tuna 🙁 guess I’ll have to restrict it to the occasional lunch plate! Have a great day!
it’s funny i heard on good morning america yesterday that if you smell something unpleasant before going to bed, it triggers nightmares!! they had participants in a study smell rotten eggs before going to bed and almost all of them had horrible dreams. maybe tuna has the same effect?? it tastes great, but it doesn’t have the greatest smell
hope you have a great day!
YUM! I love banana in the morning.
My dreams are ALWAYS bizarre, so I can’t really answer your question, I’m afraid, haha 😉
Hooray for seeing PB tomorrow!! 🙂
Daniele- happy to know I’m not alone!
Gina- what an interesting study. I’ll have to pay attention to that.
Bridget- thanks for the recipe
