Brunch Menu

PB and I are hosting brunch at my dad’s on Sunday (my place isn’t big enough for all the family). We are really excited and can’t wait! All of my family will probably come as it is a special day for all of us. As this blog is about food let me get to it!

The Menu:

Tomato Asparagus Frittata
Baked Home Fries
Zattar Toast
Toast with assorted jams
French Toast Casserole
2 big PB Classic Pizzas
Veggies with hummus and lebneh
Fried Halloumi cheese with pita and olives
Almonds in water
A few bagels with cream cheese maybe?
Fresh green salad
Fruit tarts from Pastiche
Fruit salad

The plan:

Saturday:
go to market
slice ciabatta
make pizza dough
make fruit salad
wash and chop veggies
make home fries
“marinate” french toast casserole
pick up 2 pretty tablecloths
bring everything to dad’s (don’t forget fav pan for frittata)
make sure dad’s house is in good shape

Sunday:
Church
start frittata
Bake off french toast casserole
bake pizzas
make salad
set tables
arrange trays
heat up homefries
last thing: make toast!
