A dinner out at P.F. Chang's
Yesterday was insane. I did not find more than 2 things I needed for the wedding, but at least I saw what was out there. I also bought lots of stuff I didn’t really need but am super excited to have!
Does anyone else take pictures in the dressing room to see what they look like in an outfit?!?!! I do sometimes when the mirrors are funny. I ended up buying this dress which would match with cotton skirts! It’s theory. I needed some retail therapy after my retail flops!
(looks so hot with socks, no?)
I needed some girl time after my whole day of shopping without much wedding success (but again, I bought plenty for myself whoops!) I loved the decor at P.F. Chang’s! So relaxing.
Thank you all SO MUCH for your P.F. Chang’s healthy suggestions. I loved all of them and ended up going with the Buddha’s Feast steamed with shrimp instead of tofu. But first Loco and I shared chicken lettuce wraps… How could I resist when you all told me how yummy they were?
We were famished and finished the whole plate within minutes. When dinner came I was insanely excited. It was truly just steamed veggies and shrimp! No oil, butter, sauce.. NOTHING! and brown rice too, my fav.
I really wish we had one in Rhode Island or Philly (is there one in philly?!?) because it was THAT good. Inexpensive too.
Loco got the honey crispy chicken. She took half to her boy after we said goodbye!
With the check they bring you fortune cookies. Mine was perfect for the company I was with.. I just had to share!
It was so nice to see Loco during the week!!! I miss her so much. Living in two cities at once isn’t easy right now!!! I think Loco and her boy are coming down next weekend though, so that should be fun!!!! Thank you again for your suggestions and tips, you CAN eat healthy when out if you simply plan ahead.. and can still even treat yourself a bit!
Question of the Day: 1. Do you all take a fun food day once a week? I usually do because it keeps me sane and prevents me from overdoing it more than that. I had to consider yesterday my fun food day bc I had more than 200 cals of junk.. since I ended up eating a bite each of 5 different chocolates when I got home. Whoops! 2. What’s your favorite fun food?
I’ll go first:
1. Yes, I always do, except it is usually Fridays or Saturdays (not a random Thursday eek!)
2. My favorite fun food to have is either PB’s homemade pizza (which I will probs have tonight but with very little cheese) or some type of decadent pasta.. or chocolate. I should probably just call that the trio of happiness hahahaha.

I am so glad you enjoyed my fave restaurant! I don’t really have a fun food day b/c then I would make every day like that. But ice cream would be indulgence!
LOVE PF CHANGS!!!!
I do a fun food day most saturdays ๐
We had a PeiWei in the Garden City area but they closed (they are the smaller version of PF C) I miss them….
Lynn- I remember that, do you know why they closed?!
Pei Wei closed! I never even made it there. Bummer.
Have you ever been to Seven Moons in North Kingstown? It’s really good!
There is a PF Changs in the Promenade (good shopping) on Route 73 in Marlton, NJ and there is a Pei Wei on Route 38 in Moorestown by the mall. They both aren’t far from Philly. Worth the trip if you plan on doing some shopping!
I don’t plan fun food days but they do happen, sometimes you just need something different and when I eat out I usually allow myself to order whatever and enjoy it!
There’s a P.F. Chang’s in Plymouth Meeting, Pa – not too far from Philly. I was there for the first time about a month ago-it was insanely delicous!
Mmmm homemade pizza. I think I’ll be hosting a pizza party soon to make some of that ๐
I always take pictures of myself in the dressing room to see how the outfit looks! Digital cameras are awesome for that. So glad I’m not the only one hehe
PF Changs sounds delish! I need to go there one of these days!! By the way, cute dress!
1) Cute dress!
2) I love PF Changs – it has nice decor, the prices are good, and they post nutritional info online so it’s easy to make an educated choice about what you’re going to eat
3) I definitely eat out and have fun food days at least once a week. Like you said, it keeps me sane! Every week is different but be sure there are baked goods and chocolate involved ๐
That dress is super pretty, I have never been to PF Changs but that dinner looks great!
