RUB*A*WAY GIVEAWAY!!
I showed you my new playhouse, now you show me yours….
What 5 small details make your kitchen special and yours? Is it the microfiber cloth you insist on having even though your roomie hates it? or perhaps the small painting you bought at a fun art festival while on vacation? or maybe even the fresh cut flower you pull from your garden every day to make your kitchen smell amazing. Whatever it is, I want to know!
The winner gets something that I have been coveting lately.. a RUB*A*WAY BAR!!!!!
If you don’t know what that is, let me give you Crate & Barrel’s description:
“Rub away the odors from garlic, fish and other foods with this clever device featuring a comfortable soap bar design. Simple chemistry eliminates odors as you “wash” your hands with water using the bar as “soap”
Doesn’t that sound so cool? I hate that when I use garlic to cook the smell stays on my hands for days. I KNOW some of you know what I am talking about, and would benefit from this! So show or tell me about the 5 details that make your kitchen yours and special!
Here are the rules:
-I will accept entries until Tuesday night at midnight (eastern time)
-Pictures are welcome but unnecessary
-Email all entries to rhodeygirltests@gmail.com
-Sorry my Canadian friends, but you must be in the U.S. for this one!
Can’t wait to receive your entries!!!!
My one unique kitchen thing?? Does a MESS count? It’s seriously though, my one kitchen thing that seriously drives the fiance nuts is my stick blender. Its ALWAYS out, usually crusted with something or soaking!
haha, my hands smell like garlic right now. i’ve been using it a lot – jillian michaels said it was great in her new book.
The five things that make my kitchen mine are:
1.) An awesome double roller paint effect.
2.) Plates and trivets on the walls.
3.) A pantry newly built by my handy husband!!!
4.) Two sets of dog bowls in front of my island.
5.) And the most fun part, 2 doggies who are always close by when I am cooking- ready to pick up any food that I may drop! 🙂
oh! fun!
5 details-
*A kitchen tablescape that changes every holiday season
*Vintage green and blue metal canisters I bought at a garage sale
* Yellow and white Williams & Sonoma towels
* My metal wine rack + white cake stand veggie/fuit corner of the kitchen
*A cookbook collection arranged like art
The rub-away-bar is adorable – but a little secret – just touch something metal to get rid of garlic odor on your hands. I usually wash my hands, and then rub the metal faucet afterwards – somehow the metal magically takes the smell away!
AD= thanks for the tip! my cousin told me the same thing last night. i liked to think that the rubaway bar was magic hahahaha.
Ouuu… trying to post a picture!
