The. Wedding. Week.
I have thought over these last two weeks about how I can even begin to share my story. I am still so overwhelmed with all of the love, kindness, and generosity of our family and friends. The last month, or more specifically the last 3 weeks, have blown me away. I have made memories that will never fade, and will always make me smile.
At the same time, I am also experiencing the joys and interesting changes that come with moving in with my love. I thought $262 of food would last well over a week. It has lasted 3 days. Ha. So, I share all of my stories with you, some from the wedding week, some from the honeymoon, and some from the moments that come right now.
Thursday, July 23rd.
The entire week before our wedding was full of celebration. Each night there was another dinner invitation at a family member’s house or a restaurant in celebration of PB and I, even when PB was not present. It was so fun. From Thursday on, however, it was OUR invitation.
On that Thursday I took my cousins, aunties, nonna, best friend Lynne, and my (at the time) future sister and mother in law to Blue Sky Spaworks in Warwick, RI for manicures and pedicures. It was a great time to all bond, and also was one way I could think of to thank them all for everything. Blue Sky set up an amazing spread of fruit kebabs, cheeses, dips, chocolate covered strawberries, veggies and crackers, and some fun drinks… Check it out…
After a relaxing afternoon, some other friends and family joined us and we all went to dinner at Papa Razzi in Cranston. Just the ladies! It was really fun. Meanwhile, the boys went to Spain in Cranston. Us ladies had yummy salads, shared a bunch of pizzas, and many laughs.
It was the perfect way to really start the celebrations!!!!! It is funny how even though I was eating almost every meal out the week before the wedding, I still lost weight. I guess it was all the adrenaline and lack of time during the day for serious meals. Maybe also all the laughter.
Bonding with the ladies was just perfect. We got to chat, relax, and enjoy an evening together, my family with my new family.
Next up…. the Welcome Dinner!!!!
Oh wow! The spa spread looks great – I love all the OPIs 😉
Can’t wait for more!!
Paparazzi is great! I’ve been to the one in Cranston before! I lived there for a summer 🙂
I love that you took them all out like that- how sweet!
That looks like a nice spa! Been to both paparazzi and Spain, of course!
What a fun day and nice to treat the ladies! Love the spread they had too!
