Foodie Gifts: Carolyn’s Kitchen Dish Gloves
Washing dishes is not cool.
Washing dishes in adorable and vintage inspired dish gloves is!
I stumbled upon these Carolyn’s Kitchen dish gloves two years ago and I absolutely love them. Those generic yellow dish gloves are so unattractive, but these are beautiful and give me a little pep in my step. I have the lime green ones below.
I firmly believe in investing in pretty aprons and dish gloves and other things you use daily. You have to see them every single day so you should enjoy the experience as much as possible!
These would make a great gift for any woman this holiday season, but don’t forget about other occasions too! I have given these to girlfriends for their bridal showers, birthdays, and more! They are always appreciated since they are so pretty and durable, but are not necessarily something you would think to buy yourself!
Why wear dish gloves? To protect your manicure and your hands! I wear them almost every time I do the dishes, and I swear my hands stay soft and young because of it!
In other news, under eye cream should not go in your eye. If it does, you will feel like you put a swirly peppermint candy in it. Holiday season appropriate?
Carolyn’s Kitchen

*This post is part of a new series: Foodie Gifts. I will be featuring some items now through the end of December that I think would make great gifts this holiday season.

I love this series. I bought a casserole carrier for my cousin and my mother-in-law this weekend.
Can’t wait to see more of this series!
What a fun series! I always struggle w/ gift ideas so this will be so helpful!
holy moly, those things are cute! i would be bummed if i got them dirty.
@amanda, I just wash them with soap when I’m done (while they are still on!)
My SIL got something like this for me about 5 years ago and I’ve used them maybe twice. Do you use gloves everytime you do dishes? I never use gloves, is that strange?
@Chelsea, For dinner, always. For lunch, usually not. I try to wear my dish gloves as much as possible to protect my hands! My aunt has the most beautiful young and soft hands and she wears gloves every single time. I want to follow in her footsteps!
@RhodeyGirlTests, I should probably break mine out. I think I used them to clean the toilet though-ha!
I should clarify that I LOVED getting these as a gift-SO FUN!
@Chelsea, oh no!!!!!
I have decided that the toilet is the task I hate the most.
Gorgeous! Ashley and I have been waiting for this post all day!
Such a cute idea!
Such a nice idea. My wife will love it.
