Introducing…
His name is pronounced RAH-fee – or Robbie with two F’s instead.
We weren’t going to announce his name, but since it is being blasted all over Facebook by our friends and family we decided that me posting it here is the same thing. How can we not share his name when it is so cute?!
I just got on my computer for the first time in almost a week. Days are running into one another, and by the time I can hop on the computer it is already time for bed. I haven’t really napped at all during the day between the visitors and establishing a good breastfeeding routine, and it is catching up to me. I promise to get the birth story up sometime next week.

I love the name, it is delicate but strong – does it have a meaning?

the breastfeeding will get easier… in the early months feeding yourself and the baby are the priority… if you focus on that and sleep then everything else will fall into place. I am SO happy to hear your labour and delivery went well! it can be a wonderful and empowering experience… you’ll always remember it! congrats!

I never thought of Raffi as a first name. Now I’m realizing Raffi may not have been the well known singer of children’s songs last name. We rock out to Baby Beluga and have every Raffi cd and song story book ever released. Your little Raffi will think they were especially for him. Congratulations.
