First purchase for our little girl.
I’ve been reallllllllllly good. All I want to do is hop in the car and go shopping for little girl clothes, but I’ve resisted. So far I bought her practical white onesies, an adorable fleece PJ for next winter, and this lovely set….
Isn’t it just delicious? I bought it online at 10 PM on Thanksgiving on Trig’s dying computer during the Janie & Jack sale. It’s from the black tie ballet collection. Just in case you can’t see clearly let me clarify for you: the leggings look like little ballerina slippers at the bottom with satin criss crossing up the side. And I bought a bow barrette! The outfit can be fancy schmancy for church and other holiday affairs with the grey jacket on the left, and play clothes with the pink sweatshirt on the right. I’m not usually the biggest fan of ballerina pink, but for my little girl’s first outfit it just fits. Isn’t it lovely? I bought her the right size for next fall/winter.
Now I can’t wait for the summer collections to come out so I can buy her teeny tiny bathing suits with ruffles. Girl clothes are so fun.

So cuteee 🙂 I would totally wear that in adult size…
This is random – but the penguin hat/slippers (?) picture under Philly Baby… can you share where you got it?? I just found your blog and saw that, and I absolutely MUST get it for my friends baby:) She has a love of penguins.
Also, WAR EAGLE!!! I completed my M.S. there in 2011:) I miss it!
@Alexis,
I’m an idiot, you didn’t go to Auburn. I discovered 2 new blogs today. You look a lot like the girl from Fitting Back In, whose also pregnant!
@Alexis, I was thinking, uhhh WAR EAGLE? What could that mean? LOL.
The hat and booties are from baby GAP but unfortunately they don’t have them this season. They do have penguin slippers at Target right now, although they aren’t as cute. Thanks for reading!
You are going to have so much fun dressing your little girl! Not that boy’s clothing isn’t cute, but there is just something about all the options for girls. Your life will be a sea of pink, even if you try to avoid it – somehow it just happens!
Adorable! I have bought way too many things for my little boy already. Plus my family is going crazy buying stuff. He will be so spoiled.
gaaaah! so cute!!! so excited for you.
I was completely serious when I offered your husband some of our girl-baby clothes–they are barely used and we’re done, so I’d love to pass them on to someone I know. I was going to send you the very practical onesies and pants so that you can go nuts buying the fancy things… 🙂
Wow those a are sooooooo cute cant belive that they make them in the small size. My Friend is about to have a baby girl so i will tell her about were you got those
