Am looking forward to trying this recipe. DC is lovely right now so hopefully the weather will hold up for the Cherry blosson race. I have run it a few times and it is a lot of fun but can get really crowded. Good luck!

  6. I love roasted asparagus, especially right now when the spears are so nice.

Are you coming to the lunch on Saturday? I hope so!

@Jacquie, I wish! We are not going to be down in DC until 1 or 2 PM so I won’t make it to the lunch. I will, however, by wearing my RhodeyGirl Tests t-shirt to the race Sunday so if you see me please say hello!!!

I adore roasted asparagus – its also to die for with some parmesean shaved over it so the parmesean just bakes on and gets crunch. But then again, everything is better with parmesean in my opinion!

This is my go-to spring recipe. Its amazing how simple ingrediants help the asparagus shine. I love using the oven until the weather gets a tad warmer and then I use this same recipe on the grill. Yum

  15. I agree — I need Asparagus at least once a week too. Simple, HEALTHY, and delicious — especially essential when you’re training for something as intense as a 10 mile run! Have fun!
