Mother’s Day Brunch Menu
Mother’s Day is around the corner, and if you haven’t set your brunch menu yet, let me help! We are taking my amazing mother in law out this Sunday for Mother’s Day, but I still wanted to share some of my favorite brunch recipes in case you need them.
My mom at my high school graduation
Why lemons? They remind me of my mom!
This Sunday, celebrate the women that make your life special, whether it be a mother, aunt, friend, grandmother, or anyone else that makes your heart warm with love. While my mom is no longer here with us, she lives with me in my heart. I feel like she sent me the incredible and loving mother in law I have, and I am so thankful to have my MIL, my auntie Daniela, and my Nonna as some of the strong women in my life. Thank you all forgiving me strength, advice, and love when I need it… and when I don’t!

Your Mom was stunning and I can see the resemblance very much.
I still haven’t decided what we are going to do for Mother’s Day, I’m thinking I’ll probably have the Husband grill. I’m excited because my Mother is flying in to stay with me for 2 weeks, so we’ll get to spend Mother’s day together. My Husband flew her up here as a Mother’s day present for both of us, so excited.
this sounds like the perfect spread…i so wish i was in Texas this year and could celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom and MIL! maybe i’ll make some of it for myself…i am a fur-mommy to my pups after all 😉
your mom was breathtaking, Sabrina! now i see where you get it from 🙂
Your mom was so gorgeous. Seeing her in the picture above and your picture to the right gives me some chills. I know I’ve told you before but you are such a strong and classy woman, I can’t imagine how proud your mom would be!
What a beautiful picture of your mom — she looks like it could have been HER high school graduation.
I’m so glad you posted this! I’m hosting Mother’s Day brunch this year and was mulling over my menu on my way to work. I already plan to make your soft pretzel bread pudding, but needed to figure out what else to make. This is great inspiration!
@PhillyGirlRuns, So fun!!! Let me know what else you make!
Agree with Jessica- your mom is beautiful! What a great spread. Especially the Zaatar bread (which has become a staple in my household and my friends households).
Your Mom is GORGEOUS! I wish I wasn’t dining out for breakfast lunch and dinner on Mother’s day (really…I’m not sure how I’m going to handle all this food haha). I soo would love to create a menu for my family. Next occasion when I can cook, I’m coming to you!
Awesome suggestions! Mothers day was actually last weekend here in Portugal! My mom was sick though so we didn’t do anything special :/
Oh my word… your mom was breathtaking. Honestly, I miss read the caption and thought it was HER graduation and I was really confused b/c your tweet said she was in her 40’s and I just couldn’t figure out how she graduated at 40 looking like she was 18… (sidebar: I’m working on my first cup of coffee, I’m not exactly on top of things before cup #2). Anyways…now I see why you’re so gorgeous!
Sabrina, your mom was indeed stunning (and your resemblance to her is striking!). And I love that she loved lemons. My grandma remembers that her mom, Sophia (who was Italian) used to give my grandma and her siblings fresh lemons to suck on on their way to school – for good health! Cool, huh!?
The egg white vegetable frittata muffins look delish. I would love to try to make them – but I shy away from baking (unless it’s a casserole!) because I have a fear of the food burning or something… (not a good reason, I know).
Your mom was gorgeous! I love recipes and flavors that bring back memories. Its such a wonderful part of food, isnt it?
Your mom’s beautiful and looks so young and happy at your graduation. Enjoy those wonderful memories and have a great mothers day with your other mom.
Awesome! We are going to my mom’s for a cookout! We are grilling portabella mushroom burgers!!! YUM!
Your mom is so beautiful. No big plans for mothers day since I do not live near the mom, I do plan on calling her 😉 My oldest sister is pregnant and is due soon so she will be a mom soon. Which is so crazy to think about sometimes, and that I am going to be an aunt!!
Lovely sentiment. I will definitely be treating my Mama to a lovely meal on Sunday!
Hi Sabrina,
Your mother is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing the picture with us. I am sure your mother is very proud of the woman you have become. I read the post where you referenced your mother as she is still here. She is still here living through her family and especially through you. You are an awesome person with a a heart of gold and anyone would be lucky to share company with you.
Dearest Sabrina,
thank you so much for your tribute to your mom and all the other special women in your life. As one of them, I want you to know that your mom today would be very proud of you and the fine lady you have become. Your lifestyle honors her memory every day.
You are a very special person and I am so glad you have so many dear women, and wonderful blog friends that follow you and keep your heart full of love.
Hugs and kisses,
Auntie D.
