I first learned of d’andrea handbags around Christmas. My dad took me to the sample sale in Providence and I fell in love with a gorgeous large navy bag that I use every week still- it even fits my big camera! I love how soft the leather is, how light the bag is, the big zippered pocket inside, and the color.
When Nicole, owner of d’andrea handbags, contacted me about her latest collection of clutches, I couldn’t wait to share them with you! I love supporting local, small companies, and Nicole is from my favorite state of Rhode Island. I always have problems with clutches because they are too small for me and rarely have a good zipper. This one has a nice zipper under the flap and a zippered pocket. They are constructed in the U.S. (!!!!) using fine Italian leather.

I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed it because my new job (which involves commuting from South Jersey into Philly) has turned me into a crazy bag lady — and this would be such an adorable change of pace from the enormous LL Bean tote I lug around daily!
I neeeed this clutch because I’m constantly switching out purses, but I’m never happy with how they look. This one is super cute, and has lots of space.. which I really need to carry my camera, polaroid camera, snacks, wallet, etc. etc!
I wouldn’t ever buy it because I am a mom of 3 and the budget is tight. My husband is a drummer and when I go to his shows I would at least like to look like I belong with him to all the hot chicks checking him out :).

When I think about how I want to feel and how I want to look, I used to separate the two into two different categories: feelings were “felt” and looks were “seen”, right? But when it comes to your personal style (whether it be one’s clothing or their accessories), the FEELING you get from LOOKING good bridges the gap between those two categories as they’ll then work in unison.
All I know is that if this clutch is as quality as your other product lines, I’ll either do my best to win this contest or I’ll just buy it. Plainly put, here’s how I look at it:
1. I can walk out the door wanting to feel good because I’ll hopefully be seen.
2. Or I can walk out the door with a D’Andrea clutch wanting to be seen because I feel good.

I need this clutch because: I often wear pashminas/shawls in summer, as something light and pretty over sleeveless dresses when i’m out and about. However, shoulder bags don’t work well with that ensemble! One needs a clutch….THIS clutch!
