Video: Animal Sounds
We’ve been working on our animal sounds, and I love having a new trick to show everyone.
Here are the animal sounds Raffi knows so far:
Dog/doggy: “woof woof”
Duck: “cak cak” (quack quack)
Cow: “moof” (moo)
Monkey: “ah ah ah” (ooh ooh ooh ah ah ah)
See this quick pre-bed video for proof:
We are now working on horse (nayyyy), owl (hoot, hoot) and chicken (boc boc boc boc boc). Raffi laughs hysterically when I do the chicken sound.
Every time Raffi sees a dog he points and says WOOF WOOF either really quietly or in a super loud voice. Sometimes I don’t know where the dog is and have to follow his gaze to find it. He does the same thing with “dis” – also known as Christmas trees. On our ride home from daycare he points out every lit up tree with aw and enthusiasm.
We took a family walk on Sunay and passed a lady with a teeny tiny dog and my son started yelling, “meow! Meow!” The dog was so small he thought it was a cat haha 🙂
you need to include yourself making the chicken sound in the video! not fair only raffi gets to hear it 😀
Funny how kids pick up on the sound of animals so fast. I have a two year old when ever we pass an animal that she knows she will make the sound of the animal instead of call it by name
