Original Post: If you’re planning a trip to North Conway, NH with your family, you have to add Kahuna Laguna to your list of places to visit. Kahuna Laguna is an indoor water park at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort, and you can visit it year round. We included it on our list of kid activities to check out this summer after hearing such wonderful things about it. It was so so fun.
Here are my favorite things about Kahuna Laguna:
1. The water is warm. That one is self explanatory. I can just imagine how much fun it must be in the dead of winter to go play in a warm indoor water park.
2. With a giant wave pool, water slides, water basketball, a water play tower and a kiddie area, we never got bored. The kids loved the mini water slides, and I loved that the water in the kiddie area was just a touch warmer than everywhere else.
3. In a similar vein, there was something for everyone. The adults loved the big water slides, of which there were 4. The kids loved the kiddie area. We all liked the play tower and the wave pool. It never got too busy while we were there which was nice.
4. It’s clean. They had a hard and fast rule about not allowing any food outside of the designated area. I really appreciated that because it kept the play areas really clean. We ordered some food and it was pretty good. I was really impressed with the little details here and there throughout the park. For example, they give you a plastic lobster that lights up when your food is ready. My kids loved that.
5. They provide towels so you don’t need to bring your own. This was especially useful for us as we were visiting all the way from Philadelphia. The towels aren’t much bigger than a hand towel, but they were really nice about giving us a few extras as needed for the little ones. They also had free lockers and plenty of lifeguards.
I love North Conway, NH, and I can’t wait for us to visit again. While the drive down the Kancamagus highway was beautiful, I could not WAIT to get there, as is evidenced by my annoying texts to my family:
HA!

The boys absolutely love water parks. We’d love to check it out!
I would LOVE to win these tickets. Our family travels to North Conway but we have never been to Kahuna Laguna. It would be the perfect family getaway for us. My daughter has been asking we take her here.
I would love to visit this water park in the colder months! I think it would break up the winter months and looks like a great time.
This place looks awesome! Want to take my family here
I want to take my best friend and her kids as a thank you for how much she has supported me this last week after my fathers death
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Looks like so much fun! Is there anywhere around there you’d recommend to stay?
We live near Providence, RI I think this water park and story land might be a fun long weekend trip at the end of the month. Would you recommend taking a 13mo to those parks? He is mostly walking as of today – they change so fast at this age!
Hi! A 13 month old would have fun, but if it were me I’d wait a bit longer to go. R, at 2.5, had a BLAST and Ali, at 14/15 months, had fun but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the money for just her and us to go. There is a hotel on the property that a lot of people like. We stay at my sister in law’s house which they also rent out.
My cousin lives in NH and would be a great trip to be able to go visit her and her daughter with my boys for a weekend get away! We only seem to be able to get together at Christmas time each year for just a day ….
I would love to take my kids here! We have never
Been and my husband and I love
This area!
I want to win because I have twin four year d boys who would love this escape during one of our cold Maine winters.
So fun! My parents have a house in Laconia, NH so we go up that way, but we still haven’t taken Connor to North Conway. We’re hoping to hit up Story Land this fall or next summer if we don’t fit it in, but this place looks seriously awesome. We’d love to check it out!
We are heading up to North Conway in a few weeks and would love to check it out! I’ve heard great things about it!
My family is actually going to North Conway at the end of this month! These tickets would be a great treat for us, especially my daughter!
We loved our first experience at kahuna Laguna last year. We stayed at the hotel there which was close to story land and Santa’s Villiage. Having a fun water park right at the hotel was such a fun option for the kids. We would go to the parks during the day and then come back for the water park!!
Would love a getaway like this in the colder months!
Taking the family to North Conway this Winter for the Polar Express Train ride… this would be great if we could do this too.
We love North Conway and go at least once a year with our kids and then head up to Santa’s Village for a day. I’d love to win these because we haven’t checked out Kahuna Laguna yet.
would love to go there as had stayed in red jacket resorts in the year 2007 and missed it by few months as it was still in the process of construction…never had a chance to go back since!
Would love to take my two nieces there. Looks so fun!
I may be late but I think my 4 year old, Jillian would love it here. It would be a nice little day trip. 🙂
