Menu: Welcome to Fall!
Fall is my absolute favorite season. I love that fresh first day of school feeling, leaves crunching beneath my new yearly birthday purchase of Cole Haan boots, smelling a hint of winter on a particularly cold fall night, and making a romantic date to go apple picking.
I love fall.
To celebrate the beginning of all things fall, let us host a simple but fabulous fall inspired dinner!

I love Fall so this just gets me so excited. My favorite time of year!
Me! That looks delicious. And Cole Haan is my favorite, too π
I am so ready for fall! I’ve already been checking the one Pennsylvania Dutch stand at the Reading Terminal (I forget the name but it’s the salad stand in the front) to see if they’ve switched into fall mode……they have some really yummy pumpkin desserts every year!
sounds like a great menu! especially since it ends with a pumpkin dessert:-)
Count me in! π Fall is my favorite, too. I love everything about it and wish it would never end!
SO interested!! great menu. and im stealing the cheese tray idea for my moms birthday tomorrow! (i just emailed you again, ha!)
you are really the cutest girl ever π i love that photo of you and PB walking! i can’t wait for changing leaves!
Sounds delish! Fall is simply magical.
I. Love. Fall!!! Growing up in upstate NY the true definition of Fall is crunchy leaves and apple picking! Now living in Texas…I’m a little nervous to see what September brings! Thanks for this truely delightful menu…I will MOST DEF be checking it out!
In sheer adoration of this post!
YUM! Fall is my fave too. Eating an eggplant and turkey sausage pasta dish from last night.
I LOVE Fall and that picture of you and PB is adorable! I think I’ll take your idea and host a fall inspired dinner. My favorite time to visit the East Coast is during the fall, it is SO beautiful and there is something so romantic about the crisp air, leaves and taking walks that I don’t get in San Francisco.
I’m so excited for my first official fall in Philly. Last year I moved mid-fall so that kinda put a damper on it. Where are some good spots for apple picking, etc. around here, if you don’t mind me asking?
And that pumpkin cake recipe – must try!!!
@Lys, As soon as I know I will let you know! Last year we went to Terhune Orchards with Heather and Mark of Hangry pants, but that was only because we wanted a halfway point orchard!
@Lys, Linvilla Orchards in Media does pick your own!!
I’m thinking of having a dinner party and was brainstorming menus in my head. I might just steal this whole thing!!
I absolutely LOVE your menus! I’m not sure I will ever host another dinner (or brunch) that does not involve the pretzel bread pudding that you and Heather created.
Fall is also my favorite season! I can’t wait for it to be in full swing here. You can make me a fall dinner any time you want π
I love fall, too! Just tell me when and I will be there π Thanks for all of the fantastic recipes and menus! I swear I read in a blog that today is your birthday? Or yesterday? (I am a little behind on google reader). At any rate, happy birthday! I am a fellow virgo π
@Carolyn @ Perfectly Imperfect, thanks! Happy birthday to you too Virgo! (and yes, it is today!)
i’m in π looks like all my fav foods!!
ps- did you end up doing that tri???
@Shannon, Nope. And that’s all I’ll say about that hahaha
This looks like a delicious meal! Could you do a post about how to pick side dishes to go with a main dish? I try to think of what flavors would complement the main dish, but often feel like I come up with some random combos.
This sounds so amazing!! Especially the flatbread pizza- squash on pizza? Genius!
you know it girl! sounds delish!
Mmm, what a great menu!!
Oooh that is an awesome menu! I am totally interested in that π
That cake looks awesome. I love anything with pumpkin or apples in the fall.
I love fall too..already have been enjoying some roasted butternut squash, my favorite! So this sounds like a great menu ; )
I love that photo!! And I love Cole Haan boots, too. Yay!
Ill be there, sister!
I’ve never commented before but I’m a frequent visitor to your site. I love it!
I think you should transport this fall extravaganza to RI, Newport in particular! I’m finishing up my senior year of undergrad there. I know you know the place ^_^
I’m in π Happy belated bday!! I am a virgo too…I turned 25 on the 1st!
Ooh I’ve been hankering to go apple picking too! Let me know if you like the orchard you go to. You are so Marhta Stewart-y with your menu plan π Looks delicious.
Oh Fall…my favorite time of year π Yes I’d love to go to a fall dinner hosted by Rhodey Girl! I really do want to have people over…I feel like fall flavors are the most fun!
I LOVE FALL! I being born in the fall am excited that my little princess will be a fall baby. And the food…soups and stews are my favorite during this time of the year. Lets not also forget the amazing scenery of the fall season. So ready to sit out, sip on apple cider and watch the leaves change color.
